Program Manager AT&T
The Program Manager AT&T is responsible for program management of the overall carrier approval process of assigned ZTE products. The responsibility begins at the time of the RFP response, continue through the pre-lab, lab and field testing phases to the commercial launch of the product, including SW maintenance releases, until the product’s end-of-life.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with telecom Carriers, oversees and “owns” the product approval process
- Primary contact person for carrier’s product evaluation and product realization groups
- Works very closely with carrier’s technical teams and internal R&D teams on a daily basis to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Coordinates meetings and/or joint investigations with carriers’ subject matter experts and 3rd party developers to troubleshoot and resolve blocking issues
- Obtains and disseminates up to date carrier specifications to internal ZTE teams
- Tracks all project deliverables from ZTE and 3rd parties against the agreed project plans
- Provides leadership, direction and support to R&D teams to ensure the successful completion of the device certification on time
- Manages the project risk and provides status updates to the management team
- Delivers technical presentations to the Carrier and internal ZTE management team
- Oversee resolution of post-launch field problems and product issues
- May be assigned special projects from time to time

Job Requirements
- Successful candidate will have recent knowledge, working experience with AT&T
- Recent experience with Program Management of Carrier wireless device approval process
- Extensive knowledge and experience with wireless devices integration to EDGE, CDMA, UMTS AND LTE
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and coordinate the effort with R&D, Marketing and Product planning teams Ensure all devices be launched on time and deliverables be met
- Must have strong analyzing and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with external customers, R&D, QA, Sales and Marketing
- Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred
- Excellent computer skills MS Office Suite, Excel, and Power Point presentations
- Travel, up to 20%
