Java Developer
SUMMARY:
Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a Java Developer in Billings, MT to become a key member of the development team supporting customers in the Financial/Retail and Association industries.
This person will be working on a team and is responsible for developing and maintaining new software applications and modifications to existing applications to support a variety of business initiatives.
All applicants must be willing to have a credit, background and drug test for employment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
DEVELOPMENT:
• Design software applications according to specifications throughout the software development life cycle.
• Responsible for new and enhanced development, system design/upgrades
• Stay up-to-date on business initiatives and objectives, particularly as these relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues
• Research and implement best practices frameworks/capability models
• Performs the following activities: requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation
• Gains necessary input/approval of requirements and design and participates in code reviews
• Ensures applications meet requirements and is error free
• Develops technical system documentation
• Ensures that applications meet the architectural standards
MAINTENANCE:
• Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects
• Looks for ways to enhance design of application for better maintainability and software reuse
QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of JAVA development full life cycle experience
• Java JSP ● UI Design
• JavaScript, CSS, HTML ● Software Requirements Gathering
• Ajax ● Software Development Process
• SQL ● Object Oriented Design
• Apache Web Server ● Software Debugging
• Tomcat ● Teamwork
