Project Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the requirements for project scope, delivery, release strategy and cross functional testing.
  • Create and manage schedules for product releases, Change Requests and Risk Analysis and Mitigation Plans
  • Manage the development of specifications and technology solutions.
  • Perform as a scope and definition expert in all matters of the project with partner and internal resources.
  • Communicate schedule changes across multiple teams.
  • Drive status meetings to ensure tracking, reporting and compliance with key milestones and Metrics to management.
  • Respond to and manage internal escalations.
  • Create consistency and confidence with the partner and insulate the technical team from easily answerable questions that do not require a feature PM or developer.
  • Coordinate and attend partner meetings, takes notes and follows-up to get action items resolved.
  • Monitors partner progress, coordinate first response to defects, answer all but the deepest tech/requirements questions.
  • Ensure partner testers are not blocked by lack of documents, logins, etc.
  • Day-to-day relationship with partners.
  • Follow-up on and drive defect resolution processes.
  • Independently identify and drive issues that risk overall product quality and customer acceptance.
  • Help triage and track down defect issues and resolutions.
Qualifications:
Number of Years of Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management and technical Program Management roles (deployment/ installation/ implementation/ feature design, integration) Have managed many projects through the entire software development lifecycle
Required Skills:
  • History of effective management of projects involving external development partners and customers
  • Experience in a role interfacing to technical teams and corporate executives
  • Experience in Process creation, socialization and adoption
  • History of Managing complex projects with large number interdependencies
Preferred Skills:
  • Subscription and/or e-commerce platforms
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON/AJAX
  • SOAP, REST, and other web services
    • Data driven backend services
  • Effective time management, documentation and organizational skills
  • Expertise with facilitating and presenting change control processes for external clients
  • Excellent comprehension of web applications, mobile services and networking environments
Education:
  • Engineering degree or 5+ years equivalent technical work experience
