We are currently recruiting for an Oracle Database Developer to join our team. This position will be based in London, UK. The Oracle Database Developer will be responsible for supporting the on-boarding of the Revenue Management System. This role will cover both environment management function for the various RM environments and also undertake small scale database developments in support and enhancement of the system.

The core competencies for this role will be:

-Oracle PL/SQL coding skills including exception/error handling techniques and bulk handling techniques
-SQL including recursive querying and commonly used analytic functions
-SQL tuning skills and optimization techniques
-Use of advisor tools for analysing code performance
-Environment management experience
-Thorough understanding of the data base objects (tables/index/view/objects/constraints/procedural units)
-Working knowledge of Oracle Data Pump
-Unix shell scripting
-Oracle RDBMS 11g
-objects (tables/indexes/view/objects/constraints/procedural units)

To be considered for the Oracle Database Developer we are looking for the following skills;

-Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer with Environment management exposure
-Good understanding and working knowledge of Oracle partitioning
-Perl scripting
-Release management awareness
-Configuration management awareness – Accurev, subversion and Liquibase exposure preferred
-Use of PL/SQL Developer tool
