POSITION OBJECTIVE
To formulate and maintain policy with regard to maintenance and repair of equipment for Mammoet Canada Eastern Group. Manage the EMD department to maintain overview of equipment condition and department performance.
RESPONSIBILTIES (including, but not limited to)
- Management of the maintenance and repair of all Mammoet Canada Eastern Group equipment and resources within the EMD department.
- Ensure maintenance schedules and repair policies for equipment, auxiliary equipment and resources are adhered to.
- Management and distribution of the technical documentation (diagrams, manuals, etc.) supplied at the time of purchase of the equipment.
- Fabrication management
- Ensure all branches are upgrading their technical and operational activities in a structured manner.
- Ensure all branches are compliant with all safety requirements both technically and operationally.
- Ensure all branches are compliant with all local legislations and Mammoet standards with regards to maintenance, certification and inspection.
- Advise the Executive Management about the technical condition of the equipment, auxiliary equipment and resources which come under the responsibility of EMD ensuring efficient and optimal use of the equipment.
- Prepare the department budget every year in line with the Corporate Strategy and the Annual Business Report, in order to make costs and revenue controllable, manageable and transparent.
- Ensure correct staffing in consultation with the HC department in line with the EMD strategic objective in order to bring about optimum staffing.
- Ensure internal organization within the EMD department by means of efficient and effective working processes, in order to make a maximum contribution to the objective of the overall organization.
- Entering all administrative information within your discipline into the SAP system, in order to support your own work as effectively as possible, following the working procedures established by the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educational level: Heavy Mechanic License and/or Truck and Coach License
Experience: 5 years minimum in similar position
Languages: Proficient in English: written and spoken
