Banquet Manager (m/f) in Training (MIT) is needed for this International Hotel on the SE Coast!

Must be willing to learn while learning management duties!
Join this International Hotel in the heart of Augusta with over 300 rooms and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space. This hotel will provide a great learning experience within the banqueting department. The groups size can range from 10 people up to 1600 people per event. Augusta attracts many people year round for the perfect weather and the perfect place to golf! Visit the Augusta Riverwalk, the Swamp National Park, Art Row, the Museum of Black History, James Brown Blvd, Historic Trolley Tour, tour a Historic Home, visit the cemetery and don't forget to visit the beach within 1 hour!

Location: Augusta, GA
Position: Banquets MIT: Management – Operations, F&B Manager on Duty

Example of Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Banquet staff
  • Organize and service large banquet and meeting functions
  • Manage the inventory, control and breakage/loss
  • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space
  • Act as the main contact for guest and other hotel departments
  • Revenue management and night audit processes


Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of prior Banqueting experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Good English skills


Salary: $24,960 per year, based on 50 hours per week
Start: Immediately available
Duration:  18 months
