We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced finance professional to lead and develop our regional management accounting team that supports Child, Youth and Family.

Reporting directly to the Manager, Management Accounting you will lead a team of Regional Financial Analysts to deliver relevant, timely and accurate budgeting, analysis, and costing financial and advisory services to regional and national service delivery groups.

The Team Leader Regional Management Accounting will also provide management accounting advice and assistance to the assigned Child, Youth and Family National/Regional Management team and deliver specialist services to support service delivery operations as required.

Key to being successful in this role will be your ability to support and develop a team on a regional basis, providing a supportive environment that encourages staff development though regular training, feedback and coaching.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• A tertiary level or equivalent accounting qualification
• A member of the New Zealand Institute of Charted Accountants
• Staff management experience
• Working knowledge in accounting principles and best practice, ideally gained in public sector or large accounting unit environments
• Experienced delivering integrated reporting of financial and non- financial results
  Advanced MS Excel/ Word, e5 FMIS (Eclipse) and IBM Cognos TM1 (would be desirable)
• Hold a current and valid drivers' licence
