Job Description
-Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of the learning management system.
-Facilitate task planning, release planning, daily stand-ups, and demos.
-Prioritize project tasks to meet major milestones.
-Identify and manage dependencies with systems, engineering, and coordination teams.
-Proactively manage project conflicts and removes impediments/blockers in order to keep teams highly productive.
-Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in project management and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of learning management system.
-Manage and guide the team through project life cycle on best practices.
-Actively contribute to process improvements.
-Proactively identify gaps in resource plans or project objectives and facilitate resolutions with exec management.
-Provide metrics and status to exec management.
-Align project to objectives and needs of the university.
-Model compliance with university policies and procedures and support university mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Job Specification
-Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
-Two years hands-on experience in developing web applications using modern web technologies.
-One year experience in implementing advanced learning technologies.
-One year experience of working in an academic environment.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills and capability of motivating team members.
