We are seeking an outstanding deputy comment and culture editor to commission and edit copy in a lively and engaging manner across both sections.
You will be knowledgeable in current affairs and the arts,especially in an Australian context, and have a clear understanding of the purpose and aims of Guardian Australia. You will have good editorial judgment and be able not only to nurture relationships with regular contributors but also develop new ones. You should have enthusiasm for digital journalism and have of ideas about new ways of telling stories. You will have your finger on the pulse and be able to identify trends and exciting voices before our competitors.
