Unison Systems is looking for a Sr. Mobile Application Developer for a short term contract opportunity in the Denver Tech Center. This candidate will be responsible for the design and development of features for a high profile consumer application.Responsibilities Include:
- Using Agile methodologies will be responsible for Software Architecture and Design in core software development including, Application UI Design and prototyping, Object-Oriented Development, Unit Testing/Test-driven development, Integration Testing, Deployment, Maintenance and Post-Deployment Production Support.
- As part of a team of business users, this consultant will be called upon to provide expert opinions and recommendations and function within the structure of the larger team and focus on organizational goals.
- Responsible for analytical and troubleshooting, which will be used to diagnose problems in production applications.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or similar discipline; Minimum five years professional software development experience; Minimum two years experience developing in Objective C and Cocoa Touch;
- Must have indepth understanding and experience with mobile platform,
- In depth experience designing and developing successful mobile applications (ideally both in iOS and Android but minimum iOS) for corporate clients (portfolio of applications required)
- Must have published applications in the App Store, and a solid understanding of processes involved in preparing and submitting an application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong understanding of memory management, file I/O, concurrency and multi-threading.
- A solid understanding of best practices in mobile UX design
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working with a team of developers.
- Experience in mobile video applications (major plus)
