We are currently expanding our software development team in the Leeds office with the recruitment of a Tester to join a busy systems development department working on both internal and client-facing systems.
Reporting to the QA Manager you will work in a scrum methodology environment to test software project enhancements using manual test techniques and automated testing tools in order to maintain a high level of quality across all software projects. You will also be involved in Regression testing software projects before they are released.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Write and maintain Test Cases and User stories (within Target Process)
• Test new software functionality
• Log accurately any software defects found (in target Process).
• Test bug fixers
• Create and maintain automated test suites of major projects using Telerik Test Studio
Key skills and experience:
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven experience within a similar role
• ISEB Foundation certificate in Software testing as a minimum standard
• Knowledge of web based applications and web services.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, ODBC connectivity.
• Knowledge and understanding of technical terminology, e.g. RDBMS, ODBC, IIS.
