Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET .NET SQL C#)
Based: Swindon

My client based near to Swindon is looking for a Software Developer to join their team and is offering salaries based on experience.

Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET .NET SQL C#) Skills Required
- Practical design and development experience in an ASP.NET environment
- Several years experience of C# using .NET framework
- Strong SQL skills, in particular database schema design, stored procedures and SQL queries, preferably using MSSQL Server
- Knowledge of legacy Visual C++ and Visual Basic would be an advantage
- Good understanding of object orientated programming
- Experience with jQuery or similar technologies
- Knowledge of windows services and mobile communications would an advantage.
- Ability to deliver all development requirements, including documentation, testing and deployment
- Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and development techniques
- Motivated and flexible individual who is able to work to deadlines when under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET .NET SQL C#) Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design and implementation of web based applications to meet the requirements of Metric's products, following the necessary software life cycles to ensure successful introduction into production and customer deployment
- Developing new functionality on our existing software products
- Complying with company quality procedures to meet expectations of product quality and reliability
- Working closely with the embedded software team and systems support to ensure products achieve the highest standards and meet business objectives
- To generate functional requirements and design specifications from business requirements
- Where necessary, to provide reasonable support to other departments within the company.
