As a work placement agency, we are now helping one of our corporate clients, a well-known event management company to seek interns in their Beijing office.
The Company organizes weekly networking events, monthly field trips and larger events once per Quarter in Beijing. They pro-actively help people to build and strengthen business and professional connections and guanxi in order to leverage and focus business and career objectives. By providing a unique platform of industry themed networking events at which the art of small talk becomes the stepping-stone to big business, the Company is the central hub of a large network of business and professional people who meet to forge new contacts and strengthen existing contacts for business, career and social purposes. Their events are open to one and all who are able to converse in English and attract an equal number of English speaking Chinese and English speaking foreigners.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for planning seamlessly executed networking events
- Responsible for creating complete promotion strategies and managing a team to fulfill plans
- Communicate and coordinate with all third party service-providers including the hotel staff, lighting companies, audio companies, etc.
- Supporting in research and writing for the events content |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | - Students in their final year of study or recent graduates of any discipline
- Rich experience in planning and executing both the logistics and promotion around large-scale events/forums
- Demonstrated success in coordinating successful marketing and promotion campaigns
- Highly-organized in managing schedules, project plans and deliverables
- Strong ability to manage multiple parties’ interests and needs, delivering both results and service
- Diligent and positive attitude towards demanding work
- Strong oral and written English is preferred
- Duration: 1 to 3 months. Full-time preferred. If part-time, must commit 3 days per week
- The position is unpaid, but with small allowance |
