You will supervise 8 to 50 people in banquets and up to 8 team members in the restaurant. For this position, you need to have recent supervisory experience and good English skills.

Position: Banquets MIT – Assistant Restaurant Manager – Assistant Room Service Manager

Example of Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Banquet staff
• Organize and service large banquet and meeting functions
• Manage set up of all functions and meetings
• Ensure adherence to standards
• Continually check with the guests and the service staff to ensure that everything is to the guests' satisfaction
• Monitor and supervise set up and maintenance of dining room area
• Manage the daily operations of the room service operations
• Assign and supervise all opening and/or closing side duties

Requirements:

• Recent supervisory experience in banquets
• Good English skills

Salary: $25,000 per year based on low living expenses; 50 hour work week

Start: December 2013

Duration:  18 months
