Job Description:

A Graphics/UI Designer is required to join Human Focus as a freelancer, Role Purpose To deliver high quality professional designs based on sound User Experience/User Interface design principles. Role Responsibilities Creating Visual Designs/Concepts for websites, email marketing and mobile apps Produce detailed design notes for developers and other designers explaining functionality Liaising closely with Frontend Developers to ensure designs translate into functionality Liaising closely with Developers to ensure designs translate into functionality Liaising closely with Project Managers to receive design briefs and translate into designs as well as liaising regarding client amends providing design solutions to client queries. Translating Designs to HTML/CSS Complete full browser testing and necessary fixes on HTML/CSS produced Ensuring HTML/CSS produced meets current web standards & accessibility requirements Work with Project Managers to delivery within deadlines specified Provide support for Head of Development in regards to quoting for work Personal Requirements Minimum of 2 - 3 years web/mobile design experience Strong experience using graphics editing software (Photoshop, Fireworks, Coral Draw etc.) Strong interpersonal skills to work and interface with individuals of various levels and backgrounds. Experiences of HTML/CSS W3C web standards Strong interest in trends and the future of web/mobile app development / design Desirable Animation experience Experience with Adobe After Affects Experience of Flash/Silver light Basic experience using client side scripting (e.g. JQuery) iOS & Android interfacing experience
